Calling all photographers! The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department wants your favorite park photos! Photographers of all ages are encouraged to enter the parks department’s “Take A Picture, It Last Longer” photo contest now through October 31 for a chance to win a prize gift basket. The photo contest is part of the “Paint Your County Parks” art contest and encourages guests to visit each of the 11 St. Charles County Parks to take photos of their favorite park features before Saturday, Oct. 31. After all 11 photos have been captured; email them to the Parks Department at [email protected] for a chance to win a gift basket full of goodies at the Paint Your County Parks reception on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Foundry Art Center in St. Charles. The winner of the gift basket will be announced at the reception. All participants must be present to win. They must also agree to allow the St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department use of the photos in any media at any time.
