In the newly released "unofficial" trailer for his film "Things Fall Apart," the rapper stars as a high school football player who has dreams of joining the Miami Dolphins, only to learn he has cancer. The clip showcases 50 Cent's highly publicized 54-pound weight loss last year, juxtaposing shots of him as a buff football player with dreadlocks with scenes of the actor as a skinny, sweaty shivering patient on a hospital bed. Fitty, who normally tips the scales at 214 pounds, shocked his fans last May by releasing a photo of himself at a frail 160 pounds after going on a liquid diet and spending three hours a day on the treadmill for nine weeks. "I was starving," he revealed on his official website, thisis50.com, at the time. The 35-year-old musician, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, also removed his arm tattoos for the role.
