How THC and CB are similar and different! THC and CBD are easily the two most common cannabinoids we hear about and see in the industry then and now/today They are both produced by the cannabis plant, in the glandular trichomes of the unfertilized female flower, in their acidic forms! so actually they are termed phyto-cannabinoids, whereas endocannabinoids are the cannabinoid-like molecules we produce endogenously that interact with our endocannabinoid system lets take a look at THCs and CBDs structure they contain the same # of Carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen atoms, (C21H30O2) their mass is the same at 314 grams per mol they almoooostt look identical, However, there is one tiny difference, THC contains an ether which created a cyclical ring, whereas THC has a hydroxyl group Oddly enough this is the difference between getting high and not getting high lol And this is likely why CBD has a broader spectrum of pharmacological effects than THC its More like a tiny big difference, knawimsayin so, like we kinda hinted to, THC is the main intoxicating psychoactive component of cannabis It has this effect on us because it binds to our CB1 receptors, its what’s known as a weak partial agonist on the otherhand, although CBD is psychoactive, its NON INTOXICATING – its psychoactive because it interacts with and modulates our nervous system and yes, it ALSO interacts with the CB1 receptors, but in a different way from THC CBD binds to another area on the receptor, which causes the receptors to release THC. CBD is what’s known as a Negative allosteric modulator on CB1 CBD interacts with a variety of other receptors in our body too, which will be in that video Combining CBD and THC decreases the psychoactivity and other side effects of THC, while enhancing some of THC’s benefits. And when you get the CBD to THC ratio to be about a 1:1, or higher on the CBD side it’s a great way to use cannabis for relief without having to worry about getting high I hope you learned something and ill see ya next time! #viralex cbd gummies #cbd gummies stay alert #cbd gummies wholesale uk
