After 50, your body changes, which means you can’t train just like you did in your 20s and 30s and expect the same result. In this video I’m gonna share 5 things no one tells you about losing fat after 50 so you can continue shedding excess fat despite getting older. #1: It’s harder to lose fat but more important than ever. Losing fat can make a big impact on your energy, your testosterone levels and your overall health. It might be more challenging to lose fat than it was when you were younger, but it’s more necessary. Let your overall health and quality of life motivate you more than anything. #2: Run less steady state cardio. It’s better than no exercise. But steady state cardio isn’t the most optimal way to lose fat like a lot of guys think. The most optimal way to lose fat is with resistance training and HIIT cardio. These are also the forms of training that increase your testosterone levels. #3: You need to get more micronutrients into your diet. The trick here is you don’t want to eat a ton of extra food to get those micronutrients because that extra food is extra calories. And extra calories can lead to weight gain instead of weight loss.
