Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed prevention of money laundering case. This is in reference to one of the largest drug busts ever and heroin worth 20,900 crores was seized from Mundra Port in Gujarat which was unearthed by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI). The official had received a tip-off that heroin was being brought into the country. The consignment originated from Afghanistan and was shipped from Iran to Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This comes after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and after they claimed that their land would not be used for the export of illegal drugs.
