The little blue pill known the world over for treating erectile dysfunction in adults may be able to treat certain lymphatic conditions in infants. US doctors first used Viagra on an infant girl with severe lymphatic malformation wrapped around her heart. Within a year, doctors say MRIs showed the lymphatic malformation disappeared. An initial trial with a small number of children has proven to be a positive step, but in order for further conclusions to be drawn more research will have to be conducted.
