Testosterone levels in men are at an all time low. This is why you might be seeing low T levels and struggling with weight gain. You have high cortisol levels which are directly linked to poor leydig cell function in the testes which will down regulate testosterone production. You have too much estrogen. Having man boobs is a great way to tell - Excess estrogen can disrupt the production of luteinizing hormone, and therefore reduces testosterone production in the Leydig cells in your testes. Also, if you’re carrying too much fat, you’re likely seeing upregulation in aromatase, which is converting testosterone into more estrogen. You have low thyroid function. This can reduce luteinizing hormone, just like excess estrogen. A sluggish thyroid can also impair the conversion of testosterone to DHT and also increase SHBG - both of which are bad for fat loss. Here are some quick tips to fix this: Get more sunlight and consume more fat soluble vitamins. So eat some saturated fats from animal sources, have egg yolks, and eat some beef liver. Sleep as much as you can, don’t fast too much, and drink your morning coffee with some beef gelatin or have some food with it. This will help reduce cortisol.
