As many states legalize consumption, cannabis use is becoming more mainstream. But in adolescents, regular use of cannabis could increase the likelihood of developing a psychiatric disorder, including schizophrenia, studies suggest. "I started using cannabis when I was 15 years old, and in my college years, multiple times a day," Callan, who's now 30 and was eventually diagnosed with schizophrenia, told NOVA. "I started getting really paranoid about things. I started feeling like people were following me."
