Sean shares with us the importance of a good night's sleep. Sleep is one of the most over-looked aspects of health, diet, and fat loss. Back in the day, when the sun went down, we went to bed. We no longer do that. In winter, the days are short, the nights are long, and we have a famine going on. In the spring and summer, the nights are shorter, the days are longer, and there is an abundance of food because the trees are in season. You would prepare for the winter by fattening up so you could live off of your fat stores. Seasons are wired into our physiology. In the wintertime, it gets dark early. We are supposed to go to bed. When we go to bed earlier, we'll have more melatonin production, our sleep hormone. Melatonin impacts prolactin. If that works properly, you will not crave carbohydrates. In the summer, we sleep less and get less melatonin production. When you wake up in the winter, your prolactin should be all the way down. When you don't sleep enough, you will have prolactin spillover. READ my blog on this topic at SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE HEALTHY VIDEO TIPS AND REPORTS!
