Dr. Saya discusses the subcutaneous and intramuscular methods for injecting testosterone. Visit for more information or to schedule your consultation! Transcript: The traditional, or as we sometimes call it old school approach, to testosterone replacement in men often involves an intramuscular injection in the gluteus muscle, which is the buttock muscle with a rather long 1-inch or 1-1/2-inch needle usually on a frequency of once every two weeks or once a week. We've learned through experience over multiple years that that's not necessary and, in fact, not very effective for many patients. The newer approaches that we've been using for multiple years here at Defy Medical involves smaller, more frequent injections, for example, twice weekly injections or even more frequent than that, as needed, and also potentially subcutaneous injections for patients that don't want to do intramuscular. For clarification, subcutaneous means injections in the fatty tissue just beneath the skin. With these other approaches, including smaller, more frequent injections, we can do shallow intramuscular injections, which open up the possibility of other muscles to use, including the deltoid, which is the shoulder, and the quadriceps, which is the thigh muscle. With the subcutaneous injections, most patients just inject where it's most accessible, which is the abdominal area or the love handle area. With these injections, we can use much smaller needles than are traditionally used. We often use a 1/2-inch or a 5/8-inch length needle, and a much smaller gauge can be used, as well, sometimes 27-gauge, 29-gauge, even up to a 30-gauge, for patients that have a preference for a smaller needle. We've also found that not only are these approaches less invasive for patients, but they're often more effective and provide better clinical results long-term. #cream for enlarge penis #male silicone enhancer #kraken male enhancement
