Regardless of which diet plan or exercise you choose to do, unless you are mentally prepared for the changes and ready to commit, you will not lose fat. These fat loss tips will help you find your focus: 1. Visualize your success. The first step to cheating a fat loss plan is being able to visualize your success. You need to believe that you can do it and have a mental picture of your goal. 2. Sleep. Cheat yourself on sleep and you will feel sluggish, shortchange your workout and release hormones that will work against your fat loss efforts. Aims for 6-8 hours of sleep per night. 3. Cardio. Cardio is a great way to burn fat and regain your health. Your results will be directly related to your input, however. A nightly walk isn't going to cut it unless you are very out of shape. No matter where you start, gradually add on to your daily time and intensity to increase fat loss. 4. Strength training. Lifting weights, especially heavy weights, is the ideal way to increase your metabolism, build more muscle and lose more fat.
